ca't save word files

When trying the portable version, I accepted the option to not do auto saves in Microsoft Word and now I can't save any files in Word at all, even though I checked and the autosave is allowed in Options. Can you help me undo this? I downloaded the installer today, 9/8/08.

NVDA does not generally change the functionality of an application, so this probably has nothing to do with NVDA specifically. Furthermore, you haven't specified what you mean by "can't save any files in Word at all". Do you mean the save dialog doesn't read, the option is disabled in the menu, etc.? Please provide the exact steps you are trying and the results you receive and expect.

This looks more like a support request than a bug in NVDA and should probably thus be handled on the mailing list.
