When editing documents with Open Office Writer, NVDA freezes when one presses CTRL+End to jump to the end of the document.

Although NVDA no longer repeats lines when skimming the document with the up and down arrow keys, it still freezes when pressing CTRL+End to jump to the end of the document. NVDA will loose speech and must be terminated, python.exe, via the Windows Task Maanger by pressing CTRL+Alt+Delete.
